About Me

Hello, I’m Thomas Green — a dedicated leader, knowledge strategist, and lifelong learner with a passion for service and innovation. My professional journey spans over 17 years of military and civilian experience, where I’ve led teams, managed complex programs, and driven organizational improvement across sectors.

I’ve served in various leadership roles within the Army National Guard, including Company Commander and Knowledge Manager, where I specialized in process optimization, strategic planning, and training development. These experiences have shaped my ability to lead with integrity, adapt under pressure, and deliver measurable outcomes.

In the civilian sector, I’ve held senior advisory roles in business process analysis and project management with General Dynamics Information Technology, supporting high-stakes defense and security programs. I also bring experience as an educator, having taught in both K–12 and higher education settings — a reflection of my commitment to mentorship and growth.
Currently pursuing a PhD in Business at Virginia Tech, my research focuses on the intersection of Knowledge Management and Organizational Security Performance.

Whether I’m streamlining operations, developing leaders, or helping organizations turn information into insight, I’m driven by a simple goal: make a meaningful impact.
